Museum Gino Tonutti
::: Agricultural
Old hammers, used to forge the steel for ploughs, a lathe in use from 1935, stamping presses, burring machines and much more are now conserved in the "Gino Tonutti Museum".

They are the true witness of one of the most important activities, that of the blacksmith, during the nineteenth and early twentieth century in Friuli. Up to 200 pieces consisting of machinery, equipment and production are today kept and filed in the "Gino Tonutti Museum". All this can give you an idea of the intense activity involving the blacksmith’s workshop.

The workshop’s manpower was mainly involved in the production of ploughs. But Tonutti was involved in the AGRICULTURAL MACHINERY SECTION and also in other sectors, the threshing of cereals.

This was a subsidiary activity for Tonutti, lasting just two months a year, June and July, but very profitable. In this section you’ll also find the first Tonutti hay rakes which are now famous all over the world.
