Besides his passion for gathering the antiques that nowadays represent the Blacksmiths long history, Gino Tonutti was particularly fond of collecting vintage cars. Since his youth, he used to travel around Italy and abroad searching for old models and wrecks.
He took them to his blacksmiths workshop and restored them with his own hands and brought them back to a new life to testify the glorious past of the Italian and world wide motor industry. Cars are not just a means of transport useful for work and leisure, or loved by collectors of vintage cars, or as a hobby, but they are a part of our lives, of the history or our customs and economy.
This collection is today made up of more than seventy cars. The re-arrangement and restoration of certain cars has been long and difficult due to a series of causes and problems in finding spare parts.
